”I started using this product at home for added peace of mind. Using it on my bedroom door creates greater peace of mind to help me sleep. Using it on my bathroom door while I shower makes me feel less vulnerable helps me control fearful thoughts. Using it while I travel has been a huge game changer!! I don’t have to worry about someone having a spare key and can enjoy the experience more.” -Bre
How To Use:
Step 1 & 2: Test the fit! Insert the abc of the nickel-plated handle (see image 1) between your door and the frame where the lock is. If it fits smoothly then you have the space to insert the lock. DO NOT force the door shut if there is no room.
Step 3: Open the door towards you and insert the class of the Portable lock into the strike of the door.
Step 4: The Black Handle with the moving metal rod is what locks the door in place.
Step 5: Once the claws of the portable lock are inserted into the strike of the door frame close the door.
Step 6: Take the black handle holding it by the top (widest part see image 4) and insert the moving metal rod into the triangular hole of the body of the lock on the side BETWEEN the portable lock body and the door handle. The black handle will slide down till it locks the door in place. Note: Once you have completed the above steps the portable lock handle should be wedged against the door (see image 7) Your portable lock is now in place.
How To Remove:
To remove the portable lock lift the black handle and remove the moving metal rod from the triangular hold. The door can now be opened which will release the portable lock body from the strike plate.
